Opening windows into the future

Forecasting the future is a party trick. You can rely on luck—but I prefer to apply techniques that reduce the guesswork. Here’s a prediction that is certain to help you.

Last week’s Catalyze event gave us some clues on imagining the future and interpreting what we see. Over 1,000 people enjoyed a full day of discussion (agenda hererecordings here) with a host of contributors. Too much great stuff to address right now—check out the links to find what you like.

For me, the most exciting aspect of Catalyze is the opportunity for learning from such a diversity of perspectives. The event is part three in a continuum lead by Si Alhir

And we’re keeping the momentum going by offering a series of micro-workshops. Here’s my prediction—if you check out the menu, I’m sure you’ll find a workshop of value to help you prepare better for your future.Crystal ball exerciseThink of some major uncertainty you have; some project or challenge you’d like to understand better. Now scan the workshops and see if any of them will help you achieve this.

By way of example, I’m offering a couple of follow ups— Transforming Your Outcomes by Reducing Unknownsand my Making ideas happen Workshop Series. If either is of value, simply email me atgraham@primeFusion.ca and I’ll provide further details.
